The 4410th Worldwide Cleanup Campaign, in Conjunction

Over the years, members of the World Mission Society Church of God in Toronto have carried out cleanup campaigns in conjunction with Church of God locations in more than 150 countries around the world.

Toronto church members, along with friends, family and neighbours, join together to practice the love of the Passover of the new covenant and share the love of our Heavenly Mother by cleaning local streets and parks. Members also raise awareness about the need to protect the environment while collecting litter — everything from cigarettes butts to broken bottles, plastic bags and discarded bicycle parts.

Between 2001 and 2012 alone, Church of God members around the world carried out more that 1,200 cleanup campaigns. Since then, thousands more cleanup campaigns have taken place.

On Dec. 3, 2017, members of the World Mission Society Church of God in Toronto braved the cold to participate in the 4,410th worldwide cleanup campaign. Dozens of members spread out along St. Clair Avenue West between Yonge Street and Bathurst Street. Members of our church around the world worked together to clean about 40,000 kilometres worth of streets with the heart of Heavenly Mother.

Over the years, members of the World Mission Society Church of God in Toronto have devoted more than 1,100 man hours to cleaning local streets and have removed more than 40 large garbage bags worth of trash from streets and parks in our neighbourhood.
