The Presented the HEROES OF THE FLOOD Award

The Premier of the Province of Alberta, Alison Redford, presented Heavenly Mother with the HEROES OF THE FLOOD award in appreciation and recognition of Her demonstrated courage, passion and outstanding service to Albertans during and after the worst flooding in Alberta’s history.

Additionally, the official leader of the opposition, Danielle Smith, visited the World Mission Society Church of God in Edmonton and presented certificates of heartfelt compliments and gratitude to Heavenly Mother and General Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim for the inspiring and encouraging volunteerism through the work of the World Mission Society Church of God during the 2013 High River flood disaster relief efforts.

The MLA visited with the church members until late in the evening, watching video footage of the relief efforts made in High River and of similar efforts made by the church in other disaster areas around the world. She watched the church introduction video and listened intently to the truth about God the Mother in the Bible.

The good deeds inspired by the love of God the Mother are recognized by societal leaders because the care and love contained in those deeds is the care and love of the ideal society that humankind longs to be a part of.
